Keep the record of everything you watch and read.

The Ledger is a personal archive for your entire cultural life. Films, shows, and books, scored your way, ranked against the world, and remembered forever. And it's free.

One archive for movies, shows, and books, not three apps.

Your films lived in one app. Your books in another. Your shows scattered everywhere else. The Ledger keeps all of it.

The whole library

Every story you've lived, in one place.

Most apps do one medium. The Ledger keeps films, shows, and books in a single archive, on one rating scale, with the depth each one deserves.

Score it your way.

Log a film or a show the second the credits roll. Rate it from 1 to 10, not five blunt stars. Write the review only you would write, and keep a running count of every rewatch.

  • Precise 1 to 10 ratings with your own taste baked in
  • Reviews, rewatch history, and a favorites shelf
  • Watched and watchlist, always a tap away

Your reading, on the same shelf.

The books you love don't belong in a separate app. Track what you're reading now, mark what you've finished, and rate it on the very same scale as everything else you watch.

  • A featured read and popular picks to pull from
  • Reviews and ratings beside your films and shows
  • One shelf for your whole cultural life

A portrait of your taste.

Rating distribution, watch streaks, total runtime, your critic personality, top genres. Stats that read like a profile of who you are, not a spreadsheet you have to decode.

  • See exactly how you rate, and how often
  • Streaks that keep you logging
  • Your "critic personality," discovered over time

Better with an audience.

Follow friends, watch a live feed of what they're rating across movies, shows, and books, and react to their takes. Taste is a conversation, and The Ledger gives it a room.

  • A live activity feed from the people you follow
  • React to ratings and reviews
  • Filter by movies, shows, or books

Lists, curated like a collection

Build the canon only you would build: comfort rewatches, books that wrecked you, a perfect double feature. Favorites get their own shelf.

A profile worth showing

Your favorites, recent activity, and watchlist, laid out beautifully across movies, shows, and books. A page that actually says something about you.

A watchlist you'll actually use

Bookmark what's next in one tap, then let The Ledger help you pick. The backlog finally has a home.

Catch Up

Years of backlog, cleared in a swipe.

Don't type a lifetime of watching into a search bar. The Catch Up deck hands you title after title. Swipe to mark it watched, add to your watchlist, rate it, or skip. Your archive fills itself in minutes.

  • A rapid swipe deck of popular titles
  • Watched · Watchlist · Rate · Skip
  • Built to make starting feel effortless

The Vault

Watching is the game. This is the scoreboard.

Every title you log and every review you write earns XP. Climb the ranks from Newcomer to Legend, hold your place on the live friends leaderboard, and chase challenges built to take you deeper into the app.

A live friends leaderboard ranked by XP. A personal rank card with your level and percentile. And a deliberate set of challenges, like rating ten titles, building five lists, or logging seven days in a row, that quietly teach you everything The Ledger can do.

  • Rank tiers all the way from Newcomer to Legend
  • Friends leaderboard with standings and movement
  • Cosmetic, social rewards. Never about paying to win, never a chore

Questions

Good to know.

How is this different from other trackers?
Most trackers do one medium well. The Ledger keeps films, television, and books in a single archive, on one rating scale, with one leaderboard, so your whole cultural life lives in one place instead of scattered across separate apps.
Does it handle TV shows too?
Yes. Track the shows you're watching right alongside your films and books, rate and review them on the same 1 to 10 scale, and keep them all on the same shelf.
What is the Trophy Room?
It's where watching becomes a game. Logging, rating, and reviewing earn XP that levels you up through the ranks. There's a live friends leaderboard and a curated set of challenges. Rewards are cosmetic and social, and nothing is locked behind XP.
Is importing my history painful?
No. The Catch Up deck lets you swipe through titles and mark them watched, add to your watchlist, rate, or skip in seconds. A lifetime of watching added in minutes, not hours.
Is my data mine?
Completely. You can export your whole library to a file, clear it anytime, or delete your account entirely, all from inside the app.
What does it cost?
The Ledger is free.
